There’s something new at Clock Barn, and we’re delighted to finally share it – our reimagined bar.

This existing space has been lovingly redesigned to enhance your guest experience. By balancing style with flow and purpose, our new bar sits naturally within the beautiful barn. It brings a fresh sense of occasion to Clock Barn, whilst staying true to the venue’s timeless character. Shaped with care and attention, it’s been crafted to help make your day feel more relaxed, joyful and unforgettable.

From the warmth of a drinks reception to the buzz of atmosphere as the evening party begins to take shape, our team can help craft a drinks menu that enhances each occasion, inviting guests to raise a glass and celebrate. Designed to help navigate those busy moments with ease, our new bar will help seamlessly provide a service that is effortless and polished.

This transformed space supports the venue’s natural flow. It allows guests to move freely through the space whilst staying completely immersed in the magic of the celebration.

The importance of a great bar

A thoughtfully considered bar supports the rhythm of your wedding day, encourages guests to connect with one another and helps underpin the relaxed, “home from home” feeling that Clock Barn is so well known for. When service is seamless, and the space feels inviting, guests stay present, enjoying each moment.

Introducing Marion, our wonderful Bar Manager

Hi everyone, I’m Marion. I am the Bar Manager here at Clock Barn, and I’m really excited to help you plan your wedding drinks experience.

I use the word ‘experience’ rather than ‘menu’, because choosing what drinks you’ll serve on your wedding day is about so much more than picking a few wines off a list. The drinks you serve on your wedding day should be curated to enhance the celebration and perfectly complement the food you serve.

Drinks are my passion. I have over 20 years of experience in hospitality, and a strong knowledge of wine – I hold a WSET Level 2 award. I’m originally from Bordeaux in France, and have been a wine enthusiast for a long time, meaning I’m well placed to advise you on wine pairings for your menu. I have extremely high standards and am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the drinks I serve, so you can rest assured that your wedding day drinks will be flawless.

One of my favourite parts of my job is collaborating with you, our lovely couples, to create something unique. When planning the drinks, we’ll always work with any themes you have for your day and the season it falls in, too. This means the drinks will look amazing on the tables and in all of your pictures. We have so much to choose from on our menu, but we can also work with you to create something bespoke. I’ll be on hand during your catering meeting with our Events Team, so if you have any specific requests or questions, please just ask. I will do my very best to make sure your wish comes true.

On the day itself, my favourite place to be is behind the bar. I work with an amazing team that shares my passion, and I love connecting with your guests, keeping the atmosphere light, and sharing a few jokes. That’s why I’m so excited about our new bar – it’s going to make things even better.

If Clock Barn were a cocktail, it’d have to be ‘Pimms-o-Clock’. Classic, idyllic, and featuring lots of countryside flavours – just like this beautiful venue.

In addition to the main bar, our pop-up bar is a wonderfully versatile addition to your wedding day, offering both a warm welcome and a playful evening twist. Positioned to greet guests as they arrive, it can serve pre-ceremony drinks that immediately set a relaxed, celebratory tone, easing guests into the day with a thoughtful first sip. Later, it can be transformed into a vibrant evening feature, whether that’s a gin or rum bar, a Bellini or spritz station, a cocktail bar or even a limoncello slush bar. It’s a simple yet stylish way to bring personality to your celebrations, create an interactive focal point, and keep the atmosphere flowing beautifully from “I do” to the dancefloor.

This new bar is part of our ongoing commitment to evolving thoughtfully, in ways designed to make your guest experience truly memorable. We aim to enhance the Clock Barn experience for you and all of your guests while preserving the warmth, charm and character that creates such a special venue for your celebration.
